Physical or sport activity, practiced regularly, keeps vitality and health. It protects the heart, reduces the risk of heart attack, keep the lung capacity, preserve muscle mass and bone strength. It also limits weight gain. This activity will obviously be tailored to age, level of earlier physical activity and existing diseases in the elderly. To improve the physical condition of the subject, we recommend a minimum of 30 minutes per day, preferably outdoors, such as walking daily for shopping, going to work, gardening, home exercise, swimming and dancing.
