New techniques of treatment of cellulite have emerged in recent times under different names: Lipodissolution, lipotomy, mésolipodissolution, liporeduction, lipolysis, lipoadipectomie, lipoperfusion, etc ... All these techniques are designed to destroy fat cells by physical, mechanical or chemical use. These techniques all hope to supplant the liposuction, but still fail to achieve the performance of liposuction in terms of destruction of fat cells. The Lipodissolution is somehow a deep mesotherapy. It consists to inject into the fat products such as solvents phosphatidylcholine associated with deoxycholate that trigger the destruction of fat cells by a process of membrane disruption.
The Lipodissolution may be useful in localized thinning and moderate cellulite without excess weight. One can also observe a decrease in the orange skin and improved skin sagging. The results associated with this technique seem promising, especially for certain areas like the beads bra and adiposity. However, few scientific studies to date have validated the results of this method.
