Filting - tensors wire - serrated wire

You have seen, in the mirror, the sagging appearance of your face, with loss of contour. But you fear the facelift surgery with known limitations and dangers. Cosmetic medicine offers a technique easier than lifting, without surgery, which gives a result as natural as possible: filting.

Filting is to put in place under the skin, under local anaesthesia, long notched wire (or suspending wire) to enhance tissue. Indeed, the establishment of the suspension wire under the skin has the effect of repositioning the sagging tissues, neutralising the tendencies of the sagging forces. The end result is to obtain an effect as natural as possible as opposed to surgical facelifts.

Laying serrated wire will pull up the tail of the eyebrow and reduce excess skin on the upper eyelid. It will pull up the cheekbones, and also correct nasolabial folds. Filting the lower face will restore the oval of the face and erase the jowls. Filting can therefore increase, in a single gesture, the three "stages" of the face while the surgery must use at least two distinct techniques: the detachment and resection of skin, most often, crushing the volumes.

There is an alternative to long and serrated wire; filting the face by the Russian wire.

The classic Russian wires are shorter than the normal suspension wire. Doctor Sulamanitze invented the Russian wire in 1997. In cosmetic medicine, the use of serrated wire said " Russian wire" is based on the notion that a loose and sagging skin may shrink to some extent, providing we maintain throughout its length in a shortened position.
